Kristin's Shower!

This weekend I helped host a baby shower for my sweet friend Kristin.  I must pause here and say what a blessing Kristin has been in my life!  When we moved to Austin I prayed to find a wonderful dear friend like her and God MORE than answered my prayers in Kristin.  I love her so much and am beyond excited to meet her & Phillip's sweet little baby girl, Elle, due in December.
Guest of Honor (& baby!)
The yummy table.  I hate that this picture is so dark.  That's a huge antique table cloth of Carrie's that is at least 100 yrs old!
Pinwheels!  And the awesome layered salad, made by Megan - ala The Pioneer Woman.
Cupcakes!!  I did a lemon cupcake with a raspberry filling.  (And another round of toppers!)

Time to EAT!

Hook Em!
So excited to see her as a new Momma!  Yay!!!
Was a really good shower.  I took a lot of pictures of the 'stuff' because I'm actually thinking of selling the party stuff I've been making (cupcake toppers, banners, pinwheels, tags, poms).  Thinking of selling on Etsy.  We'll see where it goes from here- but if you know of someone interested I'll do custom orders or sets!
So the kids were in Dallas (again!) for the weekend, which was very helpful in preparing for the shower and relaxing afterwards.  Daniel and I even had another date night!  (2 weeks in a row!)  They had a blast and came back nice & tired.  We love our family and are so blessed to have the help!

Party Animals!

Over the weekend the kiddos went to spend the weekend with the g-parents!  It was Paisley's FIRST night away!  (She did perfect by the way!)  I met Grammy & Grandpa in Temple Friday to drop them and off they went!  Daniel & I had a nice night out Friday night and some much needed rest and time together on Saturday.  Sunday afternoon we met up in Waco after church and picked them up and drove straight back to make it to a super cute birthday party!  Our friends, Ashley & Nathan's little girl, Ellie turned 3 and had an animal party complete with a petting zoo!  Ashley took these pics and I just had to share some.
Ryder & Daddy checking it all out.  At one point Ryder was petting the calf behind him and he squealed and the thing JUMPED over the cage!
feeding the goats!
We looked over and Ryder was holding this bunny!
Ok, let's make sure and not squeeze too hard...
Paisley LOVED the animals!  New hair (also courtesy of Ashley!) :)
Ellie (the b-day girl!), Ryder & Gracie throwing rocks!  These three look like they could be triplets!
Really fun, what a great idea!

Pumpkin Patch!

Saturday we had a super fun family day.  We got up and headed out to Marble Falls to go to the pumpkin patch!  We told Ryder the night before, so he woke us up letting us know he was READY to go!  We grabbed some coffee, made the beautiful drive and stopped for a crazy good breakfast at the Bluebonnet Cafe...
The HUGE pancakes!  Paisley attacked mine as soon as it was set on the table!
And Daniel's RIDICULOUS breakfast: yes, that's chicken fried steak & eggs.
Then to the farm!
We stopped and took pictures in the flowers...

 On the MOVE!

Stopped to smell the flowers ;)
Then Ryder got to ride the barrel "choo choo"
Then we headed to the other side of the farm and they got really excited about the goats!  They were both actually trying to kiss them and Paisley was squealing like crazy.
Next Ryder got to ride a HORSE!  Waiting...
Her name was Bonita, and he was happy!

 On to the PUMPKINS!

 A kiss for sister!
Now time to play in them...
Picking out his OWN little punpkin... which I might add he has SLEPT with in the bed since.
 got it!
 Showing off her walking skills!
 Little scarecrow!
With our bounty...
 heading out.
We made a quick stop at Storms for burgers on the way out... this pic is for Grandpa ;)
We had a really fun day together.  There's just something special to me about the fall and pumpkins!
I know that neither child is looking, but this matches our family picture from LAST year - look how much our little pumpkins have grown!
