32 weeks

Just a quick little baby update:
32 Weeks is where we are these days. I had a doctors appointment this morning (which I got to go to alone thanks to my parents stopping in last night on their way home from a little trip!) I never updated to say that the second, most torturous glucose test came back fine, so there's no worries there. Baby girl is growing & growing. All is well and seems to be good as of now, blood pressure and swelling are still down - yay! 7 weeks from today she'll be here! :) We have painted the nursery and are starting to get that all together - I know, we're a little behind this time! New belly pics to come soon (although I loathe taking pictures at this point!) And yes, she has a name, but we're still not telling. ;)

A busy and fun past week!

Well, I'm a little behind on the blogging, but we've had a good & busy past couple weeks! Last Saturday Ryder and I headed home for the week. We went on Saturday morning just in time to be there for my Grandma's 80th Birthday party!
The Birthday Queen and Ryder

Her cake that I decorated

Happy 80th, Grandma! So glad we got to be there!!

Sunday afternoon we got to see Michelle & Hayden for a little bit, then we headed over to Chad & Morgan's so Ryder & Trapper could play! And did they ever!? :) Ryder & Trapper are 3 months apart and Trap's little brother is due the day before baby girl's due date! How cool is that?

busy in their own little world...

Chad and the boys!

It was about bedtime, but before we went we put them in their PJ's and let them wrestle and roll around in the floor and it was entertaining to say the least!

Mon, Tues and Wed we relaxed, spent time with the family, saw friends, etc... Wednesday night we went to Nana's house to have dinner and Ryder played hard with the cousins! Here's Nana with the great-grandkids.

Thursday morning I headed back... by myself! It was Ryder's first time to be away over night with out us - and he did it for 3 nights!!! I have to confess I was completely prepared, had everything planned for him and us and thought I was ok with it all and then I got in the car and broke down. But after that I was fine and Ryder of course had a great time with the grandparents. I was actually kinda scared he wouldn't want to come home today because it sounded like he'd had so much fun! Daniel & I had a nice few days together at home and did enjoy the much needed break, but were extremely happy to see our baby boy today!!!

6 years!

Daniel and I celebrated 6 years of marriage on Saturday! We actually kind of celebrated for the couple days that we were child-free! We went to dinner Thursday night at Carinos (where we actually had our rehearsal dinner), Friday night we went to dinner at Kona, one of our favorites here, then walked around at the Domain for a bit and then went to see The Proposal (which was hilarious by the way). Then Saturday we made breakfast together and lounged around the house all day and it was wonderful! :) Saturday night we went downtown to dinner at a restaurant called The Belmont. Its a nice art-deco kind of designed eclectic place and the food was great!
6 years, 2.5 kids (if you count the one on the way and Rocky as a half), a lot of memories, a lot of fun and a whole lot ahead of us...

While in Nashville last month we had some pictures taken by a friend & amazing photographer named Kellie Trontell. Check out her blog HERE.
So here are some of our favorites. In these pictures Ryder is 14 months and I am 6 1/2 months pregnant.

28 weeks.

Thursday I had my 28 week Dr. visit including a sonogram. Baby girl is definitely, no question still a girl... whew! (We've bought a lot of pink!) She is right on track, measuring in the 48th percentile, so almost exactly where she should be at this point. She weighs about 2 1/2 pounds now and was doing even more gymnastics this time! In the picture below her profile is on the left and yes, those are hands and feet in her face, moving around so much that there are what look to be bubbles! :)

Everything else seems good, except that again I have to go back for a second glucose test as I did with Ryder because I tested ONE point high. Not worried about it, just a pain to have your blood taken every hour for 3 hours on an empty stomach while 7 months pregnant! Not fun!
Other than that all is well... she's a growing little girl and I'm feeling it more and more by the day now!

4th of July Weekend

Mimi & Poppy came to visit for the weekend! They came down Thursday so my dad could hang out with Ryder while my mom went with me to my sonogram- more on that (and pics of baby girl) in a following post!
Friday night we all went to have dinner at The Oasis.

On Saturday Daniel & my dad decided to do some "yard work"... real men celebrate their independence by tearing up brush & junk I guess! :) They even sustained a few injuries along the way. I'd have gotten a picture of them in action, but I was busy napping! :) But here's what they dug up!

We cooked out in the afternoon and Ryder enjoyed some watermelon... I mean, what's more American than hamburgers & watermelon?!?

Then we got ready to go see some fireworks!

Ryder's wondering what in the world we are doing setting up outside past his bedtime!?

This is the best family pic we could get - he was NOT in the mood to sit still for a picture at this point!

Almost time...

Watching the show...

We had a really good weekend. Happy Independence Day! I can't believe it's already July!!!
